What to do in Abyss: The Inner Ring

If you pass all the outer ring obstacles and survive waves of attacking monsters you’ll get a chance to enter the inner ring of the Abyss. There are no dangerous monsters and obstacles in the inner ring. The inner ring is used to access different runecrafring altars that allow you to craft different runes quite fast.

But unfortunately, there are some conditions of these altars. You’ll have to finish the Lost City quest to be able to enter the cosmic rift. Do not take weapons and instruments when you go to the Law altar. If you want to use the Death altar you’ll have to complete the Mourning's Ends Part II quest and for the Blood altar the Legacy of Seergaze quest has to be finished. There’s also a rift for the soul altar but in can’t be used at this point. There’s also a mage in a inner circle that will repairs the runecrafting pources but does it for free.

Also make sure to take a pouch for runecrafting. There are four types of these purches – giant, large, medium and small. You’ll receive one when you’ll complete the Abyss quest from Zamorak. Also these pouches are dropped by the monsters at the outer ring of the Abyss. Also there’s a lot of NPC’s that repair the pouches for free and also give them as quest rewards or sell them.
