Items to take in the Abyss

The Abyss is a very rewarding location. While it may be a little hard to pass to the second ring of Abyss while fighting monsters and trying to go through different obstacles the possibility to use the runecrafting altars at one place and without the use of a talisman is a great reward for a fearless adventurer.

At first make sure to take all the necessary equipment. Take the pure essence, some pouches for additional space, an amulet of glory that is fully charged or even a two of them, teleportation tablet or other teleporting items. And also look carefully at the items you’re willing to bring with you. Make sure to check your total weight of your items. If you use the lightest items you’ll have the possibility to have less weight and eventually feel more convenient.

Also it’s a great choice to use the Master runecraft robes, Boots of lightness and the Spottier cape to be more light and run longer. A Varrock armour and Dragon gauntlets will also do the trick of helping you defend yourself and be as swift as possible. Among shield the best choice will be the Crystal Shield or the Void Knight Deflector. To protect the head it is a good option to use the Bearhead as it has good defenses and very little weight.
