Introduction to the Barbarian Assault

Barbarian Assault in Runescape is a popular gameplay experience that is based on cooperative gameplay. Basically this is a survival mode that allows your team of five warriors to defend from the incoming waves of enemies called the Penance monsters and their boss – the Penance Queen.

At first you’ll have to take the quest from the Captain Cain – a local barbarian leader. You’ll have to find five players willing to join your quest and pass a short tutorial to be able to begin. The goal of this quest is to defend against all enemies and after defeating all of them you’ll receive honor points. These honor points give you the ability to buy different items for battle and even tuff that has no in-game use.

You can visit the arena where you’ll have to fight monsters by travelling through the Games necklace teleport or a Barbarian teleport. Also you can use the Enchanted Lyre or even travel to the Barbarian Outpost by foot through the Baxtorian Falls.  

It is important to know that fighting in the arena is safe and you won’t loose any items if you die.  The best combination of skills is Constitution, Defense and Agility which will help you run longer. While it is safe to Barbarian Assault you’ll have to keep in mind that it’s important to avoid death at any cost because unfortunately, if you die, the team will have to start all over again.
